We are missing the two most influential players of the first half of the season in Cameron and Rangel which has had a huge impact on us defensively as Rangel organised the back line well and Cameron screened it. We also miss Cameron with his quick forward passes which were so effective earlier in the season. We now play at a much slower tempo which means the counter attacking style is no longer working for us.

and they cashed in good business id say
Also considering teir parachute payments stopped this season they have spent next to nothing on their team.
A couple of frees from Germany a very talentrd Buenima from Getafe at 1.5 million and other excellent bargains.
If they can do it why cant we.
If we dont give young players a real chance and maybe sell any gems we will continue to tread water and have lttle chance of solving our financial plight

At the end of the day the manager - whoever he is - has to make a call on who goes and who stays. All this while under the FFP sanction.
I'm guessing that the gaffer and his staff felt that the youngsters simply weren't first team ready at this point. He may well want to play them, but we just don't have squad depth at the moment, and if he isn't convinced its a risk. Furlong for example was long thought a great defensive prospect as youngster but he's had chances and is still learning his trade (as we all know).....
Tbf the sole exception for me is Chair. I'd have kept him, no question.
