Last chance on Tuesday at our house to get at least a point.
We know Leeds need all 3 points to get em back on top but we cannot give it on a plate.
Fancy us to take a draw.
All time record 8 league defeats in a row awaiting us,but Steve to stick his face into the camera and say we are "close" afterwards .
Heard yesterday that was our worst number of defeats in a row going back to 1995, 7 in a row without a win in 9, and with leeds and brentford coming up, ouch
Not if we attack them from the start. And please no Matt Smith. He needs a rest..
No Matt Smith? I hate the long ball routine as much as the next man, but the horrible truth of the matter is if Smith doesn’t play where are our goals coming from? Not Wells or Jemed given current form, and certainly not our too deep lying midfield who rarely chip in with goals (exception being Freeman, who prob won’t be fit). Add this to a woeful defence (who all have a mistake in them every game that you know will cost us), and a dodgy young keeper whose confidence is clearly shot from sitting behind such a horrendous back three/four and you have all the ingredients to point to another win for the other team! Pains me to say, but with this current squad and Schteve not able to get any help in through the door, I can only see the situation getting worse flittering near the relegation zone a real possibility!
The team are very tired and a bit out of their depth. Have to hope they can avoid an absolute pasting. They actually didn't play too badly against WBA, but I fear it won't be enough. Not going to stress about relegation, I think we're good enough to avoid the drop, but perhaps we were a bit short sighted getting in loans and not using the young players? Who knows, we are where we are let's hope the boys can pull off a surprise win, we've got it in us as earlier in the season proves.
