Good post Dogs. It's not easy for Eze when you've got Scowen and Cousins behind you. Cousins passing skill is zero. Scowen only slightly better.

Said it on the match thread, if there is genuinely 10m quid on the table we need to sell him. We could use that to bring in 3 or 4 Championship level players. These last few games have proved that our squad isn't anywhere near strong enough.
Also, like Westy said, too many games recently we've had to carry him. A luxury we definitely can't afford when the other players in the middle are Scowen and Cousins.

He's 20 he's played every game this season but hey what does McLaren know about football ,! look at others that were on the pitch with plenty of games under their belts they were the ones letting him down their team mates the manager and down as well as us that sat through that abismal lack of effort

All I'm saying is if someone wants to give us 10m quid for Eze we should take it. We need squad players far more than we need a luxury player who only shows up 50% of the time.

He's very frustrating to watch at times he obviously has loads of talent, it remains to be seen whether he can use it consistently, he has lots to learn in the game and has been given ample playing time to do so, it might be wise for SM to look at other options in that position on occasion!@gatorTFC

The jury is still out on Smyth, but when he gets a sniff of first team action he looks like he'd run through a brick wall for the team. This was the case in the few minutes he got yesterday. What message does it send out when you repeatedly leave out a lad with an attitude like that out in favour of someone that doesn't run, doesn't track back, and some weeks doesn't show up at all?
Portsmouth in the cup is the perfect opportunity to play a few fringe players again. Give them a chance to stake a claim for a starting spot, and hopefully put a rocket up Eze and some of the others that ain't been delivering!Last edited by Tarbie; 20-01-2019, 07:23 AM.
