    Sean Derry / Geoff Cameron
    Alexandro Faulin / Mass Luongo
    Tommy Smith / Luke Freeman
    Wayne Rutledge / Pawel Wszolek
    Adel Tarrabt / Ebereche Eze
    Heider Helguson / Nachi Wells

A couple of those are a bit iffy, Orr was no Rangel and when it comes to Adel or Eze the words boots and laces spring to mind, but he could be as good one day. Good post, bit of fun over a beer.

No comparison as that team won the division with a bit in hand and had for that season the best player the division has ever seen in Adel. Also cannot compare Lumley with Paddy who for me is one of the most underated players we have had at Rangers. I like this team right now and do believe they will have a good 2nd half of the season.

Kyle Walker played 20 games that season so that back 5 was a very solid and reliable base to build from. That team of 10/11 had better partnerships all over the pitch.

Stanley. Paddy with 24 clean sheets that season is and was levels above where Lumley is now. Lumley has a hell of a lot of potential so in time may get to that level but right now he is work in progress and someone who is getting better game by game.

Adel is obviously the major difference ,but as has been said ,its a good post and one i`m sure we will be arguing over in the pub before the game ,nice one !

Agree73, Kenny one of the most underrated keepers I've ever seen. Massive presence too, proper player.

Agent Hughes ####ed Paddy over and his replacements were not any better than him. Sad how it ended for him at Rangers as that season was up there with the best I have seen in over 40 years from a keeper. Always had Stejskal as my number one but Paddy was not far behind him.

Matt Connolly was great first 3/4 of season then he kind of got hit by nerves in the run in and started letting ball bounce every time putting himself under pressure

                  What about Hogan

That team played with flair and the goals scored were at times unreal. Hogan's versus Boro at home and Routledge v Coventry at home stand out as both came from sublime passes from Adel.

Adel that season was a total bully. You could feel the fear from opposition when he got on the ball especially at away games, when he got ball around box you could sense them taking a breath

One thing Adel was very good at was drawing fouls around the box and of course quite a few penalties. His trickery made players foul him. We need our players to do that more now. He was always looking for the ball and looking to make something happen. Never shirked anything and never afraid to try the rediculous. If only his attitude was better.

Eze is drawing our fouls now.

Maybe not levels ahead? Two great saves today from Lumley and we are going to have 15-18 clean sheets this season.
