He was quite poor before last season IMO

He was a young player learning his trade on the biggest platform.

Shock horror young player makes few mistakes and people said he was s hit, where as Washington made mistake after mistake week after week and people still rated him and thought he deserved further opportunities!! Why?

      it baffles me

No one has ever said furlong is sh it, in fact I'd say the complete opposite
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Much improved player whose positional sense was questionable 2 seasons ago. Now looks like a really good defender and very pleased to admit he has changed my opinion of him and hope he keeps on improving. Could well become a very good centre back in a year or two.

Always rated furs, turning into a star already and give it a season or two and some prem side will come sniffing

As I said on another thread Alan, A coach who coached the class of 92 or Holloway and Bircham.

I haven't seen him live last year, but seems (by reports) to be improving with a more organised team around him.Lynch and Bidwell didn't keep many clean sheets last year but if you look at us this year we are a lot more solid as a whole team. Long may that continue.

Experience helps too not just coaching.

i remember first few birds i tackled I just put it in and hammered away. They had a good time and came but with experience I turned the Cums into orgasms then the orgasms into multiple orgasms. All it took was little bit of time to perfect the trade and master the skills and deploy the dark arts of the bedroom.

Football is same as shagging it’s not hard You just need bit of confidence and to know what your doing.

OMG i think I’ve just turned into Holloway

Playing alongside Ned last year couldn`t have been easy for a youngster learning his trade.

Normally takes a while for a player to vome back and play well but Furlong seems to have kicked on straight away. Well done to him.

Credit to him as he clearly wants to learn and improve and the biggest compliment I could give him is Angel has not been missed.
