    Have to say Wszolek isn't the most intuitive of spellings to us Brits though...

      Unusual for Poles, too: think the z is usually before the s. There's always a z. And the ł is pronounced as a w. So-wek.

                              Actually the z is never in front of the s. The Sz construction is a bit like a harder sh in English. You pronounce it V_sh_oh_ek .....and Pawel is pronounced Pav_ew
