Friends of the Scrubs are more concerned with the green and wooded areas to the N & NW of LC. That's OK becuase I don't think they will be encroached on. Transport (or lack of it) will be the big issue.

If you look at the site on google earth it looks very disjointed, the club could and maybe has consulted other owners of adjacent land i.e. the hospital, Burlington Danes, Woodlane High School, Latymer School and Hammersmith Hospital to see if there is any possibility of utilising the space better, for instance parking. Schools and hospitals generally need it during midweek days and football grounds at weekends and midweek nights.
Also on the aerial maps i can't see any playgrounds for either school (Woodlane or Danes).

Not sure how many members they have ? Are they a small middle class clique ?
What we need is for a hundred or so QPR fans from East Action and the North Pole road area to join the group and support QPR’S ambitions from that direction.

Council have released a statement saying that they will not just give up the land to QPR for nothing
And that the QPR owners are more interested in property development than football
Also says they want the owners to give up some of the ownership of the club to the community
Statement on Loft for words

Wow battle lines drawn. In short make us reasonable offer and it’s yours is my reading of that.
Odd request for club to give up part ownership!!! what’s that about??? Unless council want percentage as bargaining chip so if we ever get prem again they got significant income or am I being cynical

Sounds like they are open to investment into the ground, but they are saying that they won't just give the land away. Why would they? Why should we make money from selling LR and then get LC site free. They have a lot of people paying council tax that wouldn't want that.
I quite like that they said about the fans getting some shares. Giving us protection; i can't see it happening though
