  • Great SMC stat

    Via QPR stats on Twitter:

Steve McClaren has taken 20 games to get his first 10 wins as qpr manager. This is the quickest it has taken any R's manager since Jim Smith's first 19 games in 1985/86 season.

    Fantatsic stuff!!

he's doing a magnificent job and comes across as a proper manager in his interviews. i was happy when we brought him in but i'll admit that i was thinking he should be sacked after the first 4 games.
theres nothing better in football though than being proven wrong and having someone do well!

we look competetive every game and no one is blowing up, even against blackburn people were 'ok' with the loss as we deserved a draw.

i don't know when we can start talking about the playoffs but we're starting to look up now

Pity about the 4 games at the start of the season.

Unfortunately some would still have ‘’Olly’’ and ‘’Birch’’ in charge

I think Steve is great for this club
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Doing a great job and has kept it simple like Wsolek as a right winger. Looks like the players enjoy the system and most importantly understand what is expected of them.

Talking of S Mc what does he do ? Not a lot , took a bit of time to find his best fifteen or so players organises them a and STICKS with them and let's the players do his talking , which really doesn't take a brain surgeon to to realise this is the proper way to do things instead of the constant changing and tinkering with the team so many managers of today tend to do as tho they are as important as the players

Incredible at how some were comparing SMC with OH back in August.
SMC has also won 2 derbies, which is something else his predecessor struggled with. Nevermind actually selecting an unchanged side when able to do so (apart from the Norwich game).
