Why did Sousa not play Dex

Made another goal for Forest yesterday wonder why Paulo never played our leading scorer?

If I'm not wrong Agyemang joined us and looked good when he started and Preston fans thought they had made a mistake letting him go. Well once the honeymoon period is over we'll probably feel the same way about Blackstock as they now do about Agyemang.

1 goal in 4 is not great. If you include the last few games with us then its looking very poor. I guess we have signed Tarrabat on loan so thats good but if that is not the case, then we should sign Chris Brunt from west brom. He has a great left foot and would do a job as he has looked good in the premiership. I also think we should enquire about Jason Roberts and I would like to see Frazier Campbell upfront with him. They could form a great partnership and would complement each other. I think the campbell deal would have to be a loaned one as I can't see the board spending much for next season. Dazzer using another poor centre forward to excuse Blackstock lack of quality is not acceptable. Like I said, we need 2 new strikers min!

It amazes me when fans pick up drivvel and tries to put a spin on it. Dexter has done no wrong at QPR and that is a fact! Without his goals this season where would we be now. HH can't hit a barn door with a banjo and yet Dexter still gets more flack than him. HH has also played less games than Dexter and probably has had and missed more chances than him. I know who I'd prefer out of those two up front.

I not saying he's the greatest thing ever but I do think he should be our last striker out the door. He has served us well for the money we spent on him. He is still young and raw, but will only get better.

He is still young and will only get better is the normal response in his defence. But that just highlights the issue. Over the last year and a half he just hasn't got better. He just has not progressed like I think most had hoped. Helguson has been poor and im not defending that. We need a complete shake up with the strikers. The lack of goals has been a huge issue. I want a centre forward line that scares a defence. Unfortunately blackstock does not do this. He lacks pace so you would think he should work on his strength and do some weights. His control is **** poor at this level. Even my mates from work commented on his touch and there knowledge on football is limited.

I think you are right. I hope we don't sell him. I've said time and time again that until we have 4 strikers that are better than him we should not sell.

Problem with that Sir is that the board not spending any money so we need the 2 million that has been touted for him to fund for new players and the strikers we have are ****e. We need a complete shake up in the summer or expect another mid table pos.

Why sell a £2m rated striker and bring in another £2m striker? What guarantee that that striker will be any better? Yes DB will miss chances but so does every striker playing.

Unless we can find a striker who has a clause in his contract (like Ebanks-Blake had) then we will find ourselves replacing a striker with a striker of the same quality.

You're talking utter rubbish mate. I am sorry but I'll be frank with you... He had a great spell up to Christmas and had notched 11 goals by January which would mean he was on course for 20 goals this season... so yes a big improvement... Offered a 3yr extension by GP, signed it with his agent present only for FAT BOY to tare it up laughing. Then he gets dropped for now apparant reason.

Your arguement is complete crap. Dexter had improved until the club turned it's back on him. It wasn't only him that couldn't score it was the whole team.

paolo sousa is another one of these really elequently dressed ex footballers who knows nothing about psycology
and we all know its all about understanding people thats how the alex fergusions of this world acheive so much
sousa thought that fropping dexter after he had scored five goals in his first eight games would be a good way to create a higher appetite in the young player whos not 23 till this may
but sousa got it badly wrong dexter got upset at his treatment and never ever scored again for sousa
thats why you should never appoint a manager with no experience because it can destroy a team
sousa was another ray wilkins he can give fantastic press releases but he cant understand people enough to be a successfull manager

Yeah, tell that to Roy Keane, Paul Ince, Gareth Southgate etc. Not the best managers around, but not crap are they?
