We all know mistakes have been made but we have not tumbled down like many others have and for a club with an average crowd of around 13k is an achievement in its self. I’m certainly not happy with inane performances like last Saturday or Tuesday night but some of the comments about les are just plain stupid.
Also he's arguably one of our greatest players of all time, some respect.me thinks.
Lastly, we've had posters on here wanting JT and anther thread praising the professionalism of Lampard. We seem to have more time for a Chelsea legend who said he will go to USA to end his career as he wouldn't play for another prem club and then turns up in a city shirt than our own SLF who's only crime i can see is to try to help us out.

What really did people expect of SLF - expect to turn us around in 3 years to become the Barca of the Bush with an academy to match.
We havent spiralled into lower leagues like some massive clubs, we are generally plodding in the championship as we have done for the last 20 yrs and general harmony in the camp. Managers have come and gone but generally some understanding for why particular managers were chosen and then axed. It's not like we got JT in as player/manager.
Some will raise Warnock issue but the relationship was always strained after the inexplicable sacking for Hughes which inexplicably many fans supported. I just think SLF is the least of our problems and don't get the vitriol.
On Facebook this is being treated like a lottery win. People need to be very careful what they wish for.

Dare I say it, but maybe things just aint that bad ATM. We're a midd table club, who has a half decent squad with young talented players. Plus a proven striker that most have wanted here for some time (Wells)... How about we give SM time to get a formula right instead of trying to race up the table or panic about relegation for once.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Would prefer SLF to stay. Walked into a car crash of a club and seen us through and still in the Championship. Managerial appointments questionable but Ollie down to Uncle by his own admission.
Coaching set up improved no end, quick improvement in players coming through which we have not seen in decades.
Particularly with all the background baggage was always going to take years to turn things around. Not perfect but personally think he has done good job in difficult circumstances.

I too think he's done a good job. A lot of people say that he does nothing. Well that is because he's more behind the scenes and getting on with it. People will always have issues with him but if you can't see the clear up he has clearly had a hand in then you're choosing not to see it. Regarding managers.... Absolutely no one knows when a manager comes in how it's going to turn out. This happens at every single club. Plenty of bigger clubs than us not had good luck with managers. And sometimes it mire than just the manager. Sometimes the club, everyone in it and its whole attitude stinks and needs clearing out. Which Les has tried hard to do from day one.
