Good interview with SM after the game and encouraging views from Luke Freeman's interview.

I agree with the OP about Cousins, he was quite good yesterday, maybe he is becoming the player we thought we had signed, also agree about our CB's both rather slow, BFG was absolutely solid when he needed to be late on as Bolton took the play to us! Like many on here I feel much better about this team than I did a few weeks ago, obviously the loan signings have helped!@gatorTFC

And playing without wingers doesn't mean we don't make use of width, as both goals yesterday highlighted. Indeed it was Eze and then Freeman who played through the middle for the first goal, both in build up and then execution. Similar situ for our 2nd goal.
Both Wells and Hemed move around the pitch a lot better than Smith or Sylla and don't rely on wingers putting crosses into the area, therefore wingers are not really required. This means that both Freeman and Eze can play the wide midfield roles as can Wzsolek or BOS if chosen. These wide midfield / attackers can also drift into the box as they did yesterday to shoot and score.
