Perhaps what's keeping him and Les in post is the need to get all these loans in, eh? They'll both have to go sooner rather than later. Amit should seize the moment.
This loan window will not only be the final nail in our coffin, but a few heads will roll because of it too.
    High Time.

This isn't to say that Les has been all bad, but it's his teflon-coated position in a role that we don't even need that is the problem. It means all the following managers have been hampered. It's a mess. A right mess. And McClaren, much as many were duped by the tinsel-coated glamour of his relative successes, has proven yet another wildly wrong appointment. Now the hole the board has dug us into seems deeper than ever. I can't see Les going anywhere any time soon, so it remains for McClaren to get the hoof and yet more upheaval. What's the alternative? To keep McClaren and hope he can turn it around? Or maybe it's time for some of those billionaire owners to dig into their deep pockets (again) and try and buy us out of it. I honestly don't know what the answer is. Who does?

but let's be honest, our squad is abysmal, you can't keep sacking managers. It's the squad that needs surgery
I agree with most but let's be clear here, McLaren is setting up the team wrong, just as Holloway did last season.

the team needs to be a 4-4-2 because that is what they are capable of.

No point in playing Washington up front because he is sh it.

No point in bringing Smith on and taking off his possible supply line (Wzsolek).

He then brought on Sylla but again , he needs crosses into the box to make any difference.

The squad is not good enough and that is not McLaren's fault but the fault of DoF and Hoos. They needed to bring in players in pre season not wait for a 2 week loan market at the end of August!

Go out and get some decent players in now, even if it breaches the current FFP, as they can always sell a payer or 2 in January to make uo the deficit. It will be better to get a reasonable amout of points on the board before the January window.

The so called DOF really needs to be got rid of,McLaren? after 4 games is it his fault? no quality in the squad, no money,I think he had a thankless task before he started. have always thought we were probably get relegated, but I'm of no doubt that if we're beaten at home by Wigan he's gone, sadly Teflon Les seems to escape,

I was thinking same last night.

Big Sam is available and perhaps he might be willing to give it a go at QPR (probably wouldn't though)

              Similar here.

He needed to man up and blame it on the DoF for weakening his squad and urgently needs loans in to have a chance. Even if it costs him his job. He should be thinking of the damage it is adding to his already damaged rep.

                True,
Ingram Rangel Bidwell Baptiste Leistner Scowen Freeman Luongo Washington Wzsolek Eze. what a stupid comment to make.

I guess Bassong will be signed and he's going to make all the difference.

                An utter shambles throughout.

Les has to take the blame for the terrible state of our squad. It's totally his baby.

As I said, it is not all McLaren's fault, but he is an experienced coach and has had plenty of time to asses his squad and asceratin whta they are good at etc, so why not play a formation that suits them rather than one that he wants to play?

Neither Smith or Sulla are particularly mobile and feed of crosses into the box. Therefore they need crosses into the box eithrer from wingers or energetic fullbacks who can cross the ball.

BOS, Smyth Washington Wzsolek Freeman Shodipo need to be selected to play on the wings because the full back option is not really viable with Bidwell or Rangel as they don't have the enegry. I haven't seen enough of Kakay to assess his delivery.

Should a DoF have the same agent as the players he supposedly helps manage? Who's contracts he is supposed to help negotiate? If so, is that not a scandal?
All good points made. And also, I finally I agree with Hits. That is one thing that has cheered me up, because he seems like a good bloke.I make him right about the loan window.

We have to get someone on loan now, and we'll get a couple of dregs that no-one wants.
