You get hammered by FFP if you take insane risks. The rules were in place, rightly or wrongly, and we chose to drive a coach and horses straight through them. Madness. Other clubs will fall foul, no one has learned anything at all becuase they are blinded by EPL money. If you can get there without busting the bank, you can then spend some dosh.
Poor squads on paper have done well ath level simply by being properly organised and giving 100%
