  • Osayi O My...

Osayi not only had a whale of a game against FC Berlin, but shows what works best with Matt Smith: a player with lightning speed and drive. Conor has never been or had that; Smyth certainly has a talent for that; but what we saw today was the emergence of a first line player with potential for big stats. McClaren says the squad is still to be determined for Preston. I think today put that to rest.

He took his goal well. Either him or Smyth playing off Smith with width in 4231 or 442 will do for me.

BOS and Eze looks fantastic yesterday especially in and around the box. They were winning few free kicks on edge of the so hopefully someone can step up be our specialist and start pinging them in top corner

yesterday felt good to watch when these two were on the ball yoi felt yourself on edge of the seat thinking what they going do this time

I think that BOS, Smyth and Eze will thrive under McLaren as he is more likely to use a formation with tactics that work , whether that will be a 4231 , 433 or even a 442. Freeman and Wyzsolek will also be given given roles that suit them too.

Whichever of those 5 play I feel confident that we will not see them being asked to do what they appear unable to week in week out.

The link up of Eze and BOS will be important to us this year. The whole team seems to play without fear of making a mistake and take people on. A good example was Kakays little mazy run yesterday.
I think, win or lose, we are going to see a lot more entertainment this year.

Reinforced the view that he should have been used more last season. Played something like 70 league games before joining us I think, so no youngster needing to be eased in. How many games did we have to watch Washington......? Quick feet for his goal and an all round good performance.

Let's calm it a little. I hope good things from the lad but far too early to question how many games he should of played. He was pretty quiet whenever I saw him last season. Hopefully a good preseason will have done him wonders
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

if he flops it could just as easily be bright eyes by garfunkel too

He reminds me of they player who used to tear defences apart for large spells for Palace. Name escapes me, but he was a hit on the left wing under Pardew..
