The play off final game was one of the very few games where Green never made a mistake. The best player on that Wembley pitch that day was Richard Dunne.

So you agree with me then.

He's gone there not to be first choice or even named substitute but to earn a salary and help out with the coaching of youngsters.

Can't see why anyone thinks he has delusions of grandeur or mocks/resents him doing so.

Croydon. His performance at Wembley was what should be expected no mistakes and do what you need to do to keep it out. He was not outstanding just did what you hope a keeper should do.

He did make mistake that day he just got away with it thank god. Dunne gave him easy back pass first half and he miss kicked ball along the grass straight to derby player who ran and put shot side.

Green gets a lot of backing from rangers fans which baffles me as he made more errors leading to goals then Ned but Green is some folklore hero but Ned seen as pants

Im sure Green is decent pro but he’s always been an error prone unreliable keeper. Rob gaff not green

Not a big green fan either but doesn't make nedum a decent defender so not the right time to turn the tide. Reason he hasn't had any decent offers from sides he's been hoping for is because he's just not very good. I could argue overrated by a very few. You don't even rate Freeman which is most strange so that should be the debate not a keeper that is well dodgy
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Yes, fair enough. I just don't think he deserves as much stick as he seems to get.

Folklore hero little bit OTT Croy in fairness but he does attract support from fans way beyond what he deserves in my opinion given how hot and cold he was

WeAre I do rate Freeman, I actually think he’s very decent player but he SHOULD be delivering more given his ability. He delivers less because he’s greedy and often makes wrong decision, if he sorts that side of his game out we have a player on our hands

that’s difference between me and you, I have higher expectations and want more from our players where your just willing to cruise and accept mediocrity

example i challenged Adel to do more because he could (like freeman) where you were just happy being entertained and letting him take the p iss out the club, he had low expectations and no pressure on him because he knew he would get milked by your likes for doing a step over. Remind me where is he now??

expectations WeAre and standards!! May I suggest you deploy some this coming season

That is fair enough. I think we can both agree he won't be viewed as one of the top QPR keepers.

Never rated before he came to us and less so after he came to us. Was not even better than the guy he replaced. Paddy Kenny.

God help them if their other 2 keepers do get inured though haha
Yes, Paddy Kenny was good for us. Probably the highlight of his career that promotion season with us.

Replacing Kenny was actually symptom of the problems that followed. We spent to much time upgrading players who we could have stuck with. Paddy was no world beater but done what we needed same with Simpson solid right back why did we bomb him. Derry Hill got cold shouldered for inferior replacements

Was on over 30k a week more than Paddy. As West says was the begining of the slope that Hughes and his cronies took us down.
