One of those rare moments where you and I agree mate.

Ned decided he didn't want to be here anymore. Don't understand why some fans are pining after him. He was never that great anyway as far as I'm concerned.

I'm really not at all fussed if he gets the deal he wants. Bloke would only get found out if a Prem club came in for him anyway.

      No thank you!

Massively overpaid for what hes got ability wise.

Would i take him back on reduced wages? No

We've had far worse from that era mate. He was decent last few seasons but this is about his level. His family have always been up North apparently and we were never going to be paying him the same wedge again so good luck to him.

2 players I always liked, and was disappointed when we let them leave!

Don't disagree with any of that mate. But I also don't think he is anywhere near a good as some make out, or anywhere near worth what he got paid here over the years. But let's face it, he ain't on his own with regards to what he got paid. One of many players that have done very well out of us in the last 5 or 6 years.

Either way, personally I think he left at the right time, and we have no reason to look backwards!

I think he's better than he's given credit for. I think he can do a job at a higher level supported by better defenders.

There is a reason we finished where we did with combinations of Onuha, Jack "Left Back" Robinson, Baptiste and Lynch as Central Defenders.

Until we get a proper decent pairing at the back, we are going nowhere higher than mid-table (IMO).

Surely the worrying thing of that, though, is that the two better defenders out of the four have left.

Going to have to say major reason we finished where we did was not because of defence but rather pig headed manager. Had we been set up properly, like final few games of season would have finished higher up table

I feel Ollie would've had us knocking on the door of the playoffs this coming season if he, along with smithies/Ned/Robbo, had been kept on.

I am not so sure about that mate although I do think it was a harsh sacking given he mainly did what was asked of him

But he done it hard way Croy and if the strength of the league had been anywhere near as strong as it normally is then we would not have finished where we did or as comfortably.

Me too and no, I don't want Ned back. He wouldn't want to either as he is looking for a club in the North to be with his family.
Blackburn or Wdeal.maybe even Forest or Leeds might end up offering him a deal . as an out of contract player he can be signed anytime this season.
