Must have been three times as many stewards as normal ringing the pitch waiting for an invasion.

There were no demos. There was nothing outside SAR after the game.
When the team actually showed some mettle in the second half, the fans responded.
They were applauded off the pitch, and some players even responded to that.
We'd just put in one of the worst 45 mins of football in living memory at Loftus Road, and the fans were not walking out.
Flavio Briatore did though. He walked out. Gave up.
Taking all that into account, I'd say that (on the whole) the supporters of QPR came out of last night with more credit than most of the players, the manager, and certainly the owner of the club.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

i think no demos came for two reasons:
1- the passing of winton
2- passion and effort was shown by a majority in 2nd half.
if we go down and have 11 players playing as committed as they was last night in the second half.. i wont blame the players.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

I also think that people just didn't have the stomach for it last night.
Just sort of... freezing cold, tired of it all, and had enough of the turmoil lately?

Exactly.
Thats why there was no boos and the players got applauded off the second half. From speaking to a few staff this morning they were shocked that the crowd reacted as they did in the 2nd half, and they said it lifted their spirits.
My reply was its simple, we dont moan for the sake of it..we just want passion and commitment. We're NOT hard people to please

Said last night, put in a shift and the fans will get behind them, which they did in the second half.
first half they were playing like a pub team put together for a charity match. Its was embarrassing. Don't think I can recall a football team let alone QPR basically panic and freeze in front of their own fans.
Would loved to have been a fly on the wall at half time in that dressing roomALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.
