This whole McClaren brewha which is going on right now has got me thinking why now.
Bungle loved holloway and bircham, stuck by them all season.
How many times after a winless run would uncle come out on twitter and plead for paciants and continue backing holloway by saying such things as building for the future, it will take time, and other praises.
So, after finishing two places higher this season, along with 3 points more than last season and, a host of young talent being bled into the team, why do away with him now when we are improving year on year?
you could take your pick from the following that has been mentioned on here over the past 6 months,
the 352 formation for the past 3/4 of the season, the digging out of fans and players in front of the cameras, the unprofessional behaviour like refusing to leave his seat in the dugout or whipping up the millwall fans which could have resorted into a riot, wear that farking rediculas hat.
The thing is, Bungle backed him through all that!
So whats changed? Warren farm!
over the course of the next year, the club are now confident that they will finally get the green light. So confident infact, that they are starting to do certain work on it already.
I'm sure plans need to be drawn up to include what is needed for a first class training ground.
what the club needs is a world class coach (not manager) nyot only to guide the team in the forthcoming season but to offer guidance and implement training ideas and knolowedge along with identifying what is needed to be included in a modern training ground.
would you want a holloway, bircham or les to play such an important role in implementing and brand spanking new state of the art training ground?
Or would you want a first class coach who has experience and has been coaching all around the world including managing/coaching england, manchester utd, fc twenty, derby, newcastle etc etc.
I peronally think this is the reason why bungle and co may be about to embark on the Mcclaren era.
this is a very important phase for the club and you cannot have some idiot in a hat running the training ground show, or even the novice dof.
personally think with ramsey and Mcclaren at the club, we may just get this training ground spot on.
It makes sense to me anyway.
