  • Pre-Season

According to a user on lfw it will involve a training camp in Portugal followed by a tour of Germany. Be interesting to see who we line up for friendlies.

Need to take a leaf out of Warnocks book and play easy friendlies.

Forget all this testing yourself rubbish. Play teams you can beat, get fit at the same time and regardless of who you're playing, players want to score and win.

It builds a winning mentality and good feeling within the squad. Opposition really doesn't matter.

Last thing you want is playing decent sides, being beaten and heads on youngsters go down.

Worked an absolute treat for us in our promotion season.

If anything to keep all happy, have a marquee fixture against a big side.

Going to The Hill of Hell will mean we can play a high press for at least 2 games.
