Did you even bother reading the whole post Timmy? Probably worth reading as there is some facts that you need to take into account before deciding he failed. Yes he did as every other manager did but whilst massively up against it.

Im under no illusion QPR wouldn't re employ him as first team manager but for me he's a viable option.

Not being funny but let me state a few obvious points to you.

1) Responsible for bringing through numerous youngsters into the first team for the time in what 40-50 years?

2) Highly respected in football circles unlike your crush Hollowhead

3) Saved your boys job by coming in and advising him and was obviously the man to get him to ditch his pathetic 352 fantasy

4) We are QPR not Barcelona. People need to be realistic and stop picking names out of a hat just because they sound good on the Telly. Never heard anything so ridiculous. This is real life not FIFA 18

Jimmy. I based my opinion on getting someone to develop the youngsters and thought Scholes would be that man. Is it realistic maybe not but that is the route we should go in my opinion. Agree he has never managed so no guarantee it will work but got to be better than going down the route we have the last 7 years.

I think it'd be a massive mistake mate. Can't employ someone on what we think they can do. I'd rather go on their credentials.

Let him earn earn his stripes at Man Utd or somewhere first.

All about opinions and personally would go for him or his like with Ramsey as number 2 as his experience of the set up will be invaluable.

We tried that with Sousa before and look how that turned out. And he had Hogan Ephraim to work with.

its the only way we'll get any proper success imo, the club wants to be a place for developing young players and utilizing them properly. even though we do have moments on the pitch were we play nice attacking stuff we do long ball it more often than not. i feel like we could actually play some good stuff with the players at our disposal. we need a manager who likes to be attacking minded and can play players in their right positions.

rowett, howe, dean smith and sean dyche have been unearthed over the past few years from obscurity or the lower leagues and have done well too. they are out there we just have to find them

Yes, that was sensible post, but pressure on him would be enormous and fans wouldn't be very patient.

Until you give them a go we will never know and maybe we need to have a punt on someone with no track record but has a philosophy on how he wants the game to be played. Having a strong number would be a must.

I'm not sure how much you follow Scottish Football, I follow Hearts up there, they appointed Ian Cathro last year in similar circumstances, I loved how he thought "outside the box" new attacking ideas, it was an unmitigated disaster, I'm not saying it will never work, every up and comer is different and every club different, I have concerns with taking a punt on this kind of manager though!
