Working up in Leeds right now and not a single England flag in sight. No mention of it in work either. In my last place they made a big fuss over Devali and of course St Patrick's Guniness Day. Very sad state of affairs for you guys. St David's Day in Wales is still going strong......

I have no.problem a firm making a big thing over Devali. But I asked the HR woman if the firm would celebrate SGD too, or even St David's and Andrews Day and was told they'll do St Patrick's Day because it's an International event and covers all the others. I told her how stupid it was because Ireland isn't even in the UK and was told to shut up.
Well done your pub and one I'd drink in for their efforts. Pass on my congratulations to the manager from me.
Will do even though he is a Geordie
Even my neighbour's across the road who have no connection to England other than knowing me flew a St. Georges flag outside their house yesterday.
