Tonights match really was a game of two halfs:
first half
they dominated and the 2-0 half time scorline was lower then what it should have been
second half
we dominated but couldn't find a way through, they didn't help with their time wasting though
player ratings
ikeme- ok/poor, I don't feel confident with him in goal but did nothing wrong except a few bad kicks
hill- poor, couldn't pass, lost every header and in the gave the right winger too much space
connoly- ok/poor but caught out of position far too much though
Stewart- ok but likes to hoof it up the pitch
gorkks- average, no communication
overall the defence did not know what to do, very very un organized and no communication
cook- well done, played well and looked passionate today and was a real threat, looking like he could be back to his old self
faurlin- well done, got stuck in and played very well
quashie- very poor, couldn't pass and moaned about everything and commited too many fouls
ephraim- poor, didn't do much and spent most of his time blaming people
Simpson- played well considering he was up front by himself second hal
bent- went off injured
subs
buzsaky- ok, nothing special but tried
vine- he tried but was poor and slow, put out on the right wing at half time
taarabt- looked dangerous but no end product, should start ahead of hogan and buzsaky
the defence was abysmal and there was no leader or organization, faurlin, simpson and cook were the only ones who played well, quashie, hill and hogan were poor. Wrong team selection and put vine out on the right leaving simpson up front by himself. Players showed no passion first half, some shocking performances and no leadership or confidence. It was harfords and the players fault today
