  • Protest - Silence is Golden

If there has to be a protest why not like this:

Why not get a full house at LR and spend the first half of the game in silence?
You could use the drum in the silence to sound out a solemn note or two.

Then you could show your support for the team by making the most noise you can after half time.

I think the press, GP & Co would seriously pick up on that form of protest.

Even a silent protest outside LR after the game would be one hell of a message.
The press are always seeing noisy fans and can use that to run the fans down, silence would be different.

Unfurling a 50ft banner in the Ellerslie Rd Stand opposite C Club with the message 'Briatore & Paladini Out, Amit and Uncle Mittal in' would get the message across as they would have look at it for 90mins.

Jesus the simpliest solutions are sometimes the most effective, can't believe how much thought people are putting into this.

I thought about this as well... problem is as passionate fans we are always going to be noisy during game time.

I thought maybe everyone ensure they get to their seat 20 mins early etc and from the point that the players come out the tunnel to the whistle for kick off there is total silence.

Would be a potent message especially if everyone's name is called out and silence follows it

Because I don't want to, I'm not a proactive supporter.

Let us know how your campaign to get 11000 supporters to sit in silence for 45 mins goes.

Lol, the only potential demostration they understand is voting with your feet. If only 5000 turned up then and thats still a maybe they would listen.

Be silent, or even demos outside wont work if only 150 people out of 13000 take part. Fav ego will just do his percentage and say 1% dont like him 99% do.

If 150 out of 5000 take part thats 3% + 8000 (60%), his ego will be hit as it lives in his wallet.

My concern is that unless one of the others are going to step up, were @@cked as the debts now are to high for the majority of wealthy fans, so anyone doing a demo, unless you have a plan B. I would heavey advise you to think about what you want if you get your way and walk.

I have to agree, money is probably the only language FB understands.
