If that was from a QPR source many would say it was spin!! Mass protest after the last game - oh yeah that accurately sums it up then. It is of course their own attempt at spin given they just sacked a manager who was in charge for less games than Dowie, De Canio or Sousa. Still you couldn't make up Hart's comments - oh no hang on a minute he didn't/declined to comment but an unqualified "quote" from an unnamed mystery friend - hang on a minute the great Bill Shankly once said you don't make or have friends in football.

Wasn't reacting to the "quote".... because it's likely that it's from nobody, like you say.

I'm just starting to crumple under the weight of stories like that, and while that particular "quote" might or might not be made up.... the sad thing is that we've left ourselves wide open for stuff like that, because it's not that unbelievable. Even if it could well be the work of a 3rd rate journo.
