That would explain his below par performances this season.

If that is the case, QPR should have played Heaton whilst he was on loan, and perhaps he would have not signed to extend his loan at Rochdale, but instead signed for QPR in January.

Another case of QPR making a complete mess of things this season, including sending Helguson on loan to Watford rather than pairing him alongside Simpson and getting the wingers to supply crosses into the box.

Kaspars recommended him to the club and he's been capped with the Latvian youth sides
