  • Flavio to stay? / Teenagers??? /merged thread/

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

Not from where I was standing.
    And I'm 43.

Is he asking for another angry protest? He's going the right way about it.

personally i expected that kind of press as he is only going to express fighting talk not going to exactly roll over with his ego is he.
Whether it was adults or teenagers it doesn't matter he has to try and spin it his way.

Spin - lower than actual numbers reported by at least 50%, no mention of the Clowns and the age range is well out from what I saw with my own eyes.

To be expected. I believe this would have come from FB's personal PR team rather than the club. Doesn't scan like one of "ours".

Heh, if all 13,000 thousand at the game turned on him he would not have had a choice of staying or going. He should count his blessings
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

I love the 3 managers in a week comment. What utter tosh.

A manager is sacked, so obviously someone has to take charge of the team for the next game. You could hardly describe it as a managerial appointment.

"But there is no desire from either Mittal or Bhatia to up their stake while the current chairman remains".

Not quite the same as the headline to this thread.

The article says the Mittals wont increase their stake under the current regime so they still could be interested if Flavio and Paladini go/sell up

I would like them to stay, however, only if they start to do the right thing and appoint a good manager like Curbishley and back him.... That is the only way they will have success and the only way to win the fans back.

Interesting comment about Mittal and Amit not upping their stake while Flav is still in charge. Does that mean they would take control if Briatore wants to sell. ?

                            Answers on a postcard please.

They are loaded. If they want the club and Briatore out, all they have to do is offer him and Ecclestone enough for their shares, Even buying out B.E. would enable them under the business laws to launch a takeover bid. The same sort of thing is ongoing at Arsenal with Kroenke and Umsanov.

How much did Briatore pay to buy QPR and how much would B.E. want for his 20% stake, considering how much he paid for the shares?

He couldn't have paid more than £3-£5M, and I think would gladly sell for double what he paid, especially in view of how much QPR are allegedly losing each month.
