Reading this article, it sounds like the Palace administrators accepted a bid of around £400k for Clyne.
In which case he would have been a very good investment for QPR had they made a bid. Clyne rejected Wolves, because he didn't think they were right for him. Probably thought he would not have been a 1st team player, like Surman and Vokes etc.
Still never mind, if Volz signs, QPR should have a decent right back.
