No he wouldn't. He was a poor manager (especially defensively) who would perpetuate the ridiculous DoF system we have at the club.

Keep up the good work Paulo. You deserve it.

People can fight as much as they like over the entirely hypothetical q of who wd have proved a better manager if they had been able to stay more than two minutes. But all such discussion is entirely irrelevant unless we address the structural problems at the heart of the club.

That last sentence is so spot on.

I'd rather be a swansea fan at the moment than a rangers fan there looking forward to a battle to get in the play off's where's we are facing a battle to stay up!! Thats progress for us i suppose a team fall loans who dont give a s**t.

          When will you wake up?
Very good post ...don't expect an answer to that! ...you can add Notts Forest to the list of teams the mighty QBP predicted would fall away and we'd finish above.

Why don't we stick to statistics and facts??

Only Newcastle have conceded fewer goals in the Championship than Swansea.

            FACT

What about Iain Lee? You care enough about him to sing happy days for him. Weirdo.

If de canio was here we would be top 2 by now.

He sure got the best out of some of those crap players we had... Also he managed to get some good results.... remember the one away to Watford?

                        Or both?!
Neither.. Gigi had the worst set of players out of the next managers we got in and his form showed through out a whole season we would of finished in the play-offs, FACT.. he is now top of the league in Italy's second flight, and he makes the players play football the way it should be played, great manager :boss:

sousa on the other hand should be shot for his negative approach to the game

                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Sousa's football was boring, but he could argue that with players such as Buzsaky, Rowlands, Vine, Cook & Agyemang injured, he had very little chance of achieving his aims.

Whether Swansea go up or not, they will still have had a better season than QPR and will probably finish at least 10 places higher.

De Canio left for personal reasons and had nothing to do with football.

Dowie would have gotten QPR into the play-offs last season or at least maintained a proper challenge for them, but some fans and especially, FB, thought his football was too boring.

No one has said De Canio is coming but that's what I read on other sites, it's quite funny

Your memory's going up the spout and you need a new calculator if you think our form under LDC would have had us anywhere near a play off spot.

Name any many out of what we've had last few years who would have got us to play offs with the team De Canio had?

I don't feel any of them could have done and with the squad he had he done really well.
