Yeah thats fair enough. I use to have a season ticket until the price went up by 40, 50% to the stupid prices they are now. If they were them prices, or even 20% higher, then I would have been happy going week in, week out, going no where - like the good old days.

Where I am going with this is, the amount that was paid, we should be going all out on the play offs and to be fair, some early signs were there in signing Routledge, Adel etc.
But then we sign Madge, who at the time, no one wanted. He began to get the team going, and then messed it up and here we go. The madness starts again.
We then get in Hart - which for me was basically the board saying 'write off this season, lets go at it next year'. Now we have Harford, and its the same again.
This time though, we have sold Routledge, got rid of 2 players who are reserves and signed some players, more on loan, that are average to poor at this level - again, showing that we are going to try again next year.
This ontop of the fact there have been a lot of deals, which means that your season ticket doesnt even work out cost effective.
So how does it feel, to have parted with the cash, get spoke down to by Flav, then hope for mid table at best?
I am happy I didnt part with £600 of my cash this year.
I buy my season ticket every year in hope of a good season, but no one can be sure how the season will pan out, it is easy post this in hindsight! I really don't think there is a need to gloat just because you decided you wouldn't support the team this season. That was your personal choice....so keep it that way!

I paid £1400 for 2 platinum season tickets last year, and I'll probably do the same in 4 months time, hopefully things will get better for the club and it's suppoerters, and, a little less expensive.
In my 40 years supporting the R's little has changed in real terms, we're still a small struggling club, Briatore will eventually go, but we'll still be here.RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat

If we went for it, and missed our narrowly, fair enough we gave it ago, didnt work. But I just wanted to see if people are annoyed, like I would have been (well, still am).
Far from gloating, apologies if thats how it come across.
Worst post though? C'mon, its not that bad! Have you not read some of the other threads on here? Mourinho for manager etc

Yes feel the prices need reviewing, but don't feel that will happen. Yes I will renew next season, it's my team, renewed for the last 13 years. I find a bigger worry the price of fuel as I have a 200 mile round trip for home games. That being said the club by hiking my price up by 50% the year before last have made a rod for thier own back, I accepted that increase in expectation! all i have is silver paint (sit in upper loft), I still have to queue for a **** & coffee at half time. In any other walk of life if you have to pay 50% more for a product on the assumtion that it will be better than what you had, and that doesn't materialise you have every right to complain. Although I'm not one for protests I do reserve the right to express my opinion, which I have done to the club, but with no response. IF the new regime didn't come onboard with the 4 year plan & you buy in to it by paying 50% more to be onboard, the atmosphere at L.R amongst fans would be completely different. For me in summary Then,Now,Always

The club are in a difficult position when trying to fill the ground but without ****ing off its most loyal customers, ST holders. That's why they introduced the numerous £10 per ticket but only bought by ST holders, in the hope the extra person(s) coming with the ST holder is a mate and the ST doesn't mind.
What more likely happened was that people just called a ST mate/aquaintance to do them a favour which could be the same as walking up to the turnstile and paying the reduced rate.
Probably the second best way to doing it this way, best way would be to reduce ST prices by somewhere between 10-20% next season for those renewing. I'm not one of the ST holders this season btw
