I've got mates that don't look on message boards/websites etc and are none the wiser to what's going and therefore don't seem to care as much. Have the odd moan at the pub and that's about it.
Are you sure about those figures? I don't remember crowds dropping that much, if at all. Marsh was sold on 8 March, there were 12 games left and we remained unbeaten until the end of the season, just missing out on promotion, which was achieved the next season.
Next home game, if memeory serves me right, dropped to 11 thousand from around 16/17 thousand.
We didn't just lose either, we were totaly outplayed, which was a shocker after we had much the better of them in the league matches.
