Answer original question
The poster was very pro Sousa who posted the thread you are talking about. I hopefully am allowed an opinion and was giving it, the guy provided us with the most boring football I have witnessed. Facts are he had worse winning ratio of all the managers under Flavio.
To answer your question, he would have struggledALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Thats the problem
you are being influenced by the fact he was a European Winner, and doing well at Swansea. You see him as a man for some strange reason, who could have done wonders for us.
I disagree, anyways we are not in this predicament now because he is not here, we are here because we keep changing managers, players have too much power and the owner does not want to invest anymore.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Is the club losing more money on the day to day things than it was when they bought the club? (I mean excluding extra spend on the stadium and certain contracts).
Just wondering - I suspect the answer is no. We were losing money then, and the new owners wanted to turn that around. They haven't and have now got the hump.
It was their business plan and theirs only.
Forget about the Magilton situation, I'll even cut some slack over certain players not doing the biz.
A business plan for 4-5 years was in place. And they have not managed it.
They have failed.
I suspect a lot of spin will come out from the Briatore PR machine just like Chris Wright, that the fans made his decision etc. Which of course, is absolute tosh.
FB knows Italian football and know how cut-throat it is there with the fans etc. British fans have NOTHING on the Italians when it comes to protest. So he can;t be surprised about the level of feeling at the moment.
So, he (Briatore) was just gambling on the methods employed so far to get us promotion - rather than using a solid football plan to back-up the buisness one.
Or.....he's just crap at business. But he can't be, can he? He's loaded.......self-made and all that. Hmmmm.
Or.....there is a plot to get LR on the cheap, cloaked in shady self set-up companies loaning to each other. Possible I suppose, but why?
Why go through all that hassle to make a few million when you already have an absolute fortune? There are easier ways.
Or...maybe he genuinely wanted the project to succeed and now knows he can't "cut-it" and is jumping ship like Alan Sugar. Football is not a normal business. Many of these investors appear to be very blind to this fact.

Just a question..where would we be now if he was still in charge??
PS was sacked because FB didn't want him there any more..... no other reason..... Do you really think that this MB had anything to do with it?:very_sad:

What was the reason given for his dismissal Dad ?
"It came to the club's attention that Mr De Sousa had, without authority, divulged highly confidential and sensitive information. The club, with legal advice, responded in this way to protect its position."
If you can find "Wozza" (Shergar will be easier) perhaps you could ask him/her......Last edited by Guest; 31-01-2010, 02:47 AM.

Which other recent manager took 7 points from 3 consecutive away games with scores of 2-2 0-2 and 0-3? wasnt that boring
We had a team that defended as a unit and he didnt have the likes of taraabt, simpson buzsaky and vine, he had to make do with dicarmine and alberti! and still won 3-0 away at blackpool on a windswept winters night in a downpourits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
