Quote from Ecclestone January 21st December 2007 from an interview with the Mirror:

What if things only improve slowly and the crowd starts to sing rude songs about him and Briatore? "We'll sing along with them," Ecclestone says.
"But they'll have to have good voices if we're going to listen to them," added Briatore

There's plenty I am not happy with at the club. But coz I don't thionk one regime is perfect is not a reason for me to think it#s a good idea to ttry to overturn it woith no plan B, let alone a better plan B.

I get the frustration at the lack of success. I share it. I don't like the fact that rangers are getting like this.

What I don't get is some half baked protest doing anything but making those on it look foolish. What was wanted? Seems some wanted GP out. Some wanted FB out. Some wanted "their club back". Some are just unhappy. Some seem obsessed with the inner workings of the club. Why? What does this all mean?? What was wanted??

You want the board to change and to back rangers to get success? OK. But if we get promoted get ready for some major changes at the club, no matter who is in charge. It'll be £50 min for starters. We do get that do we? Corporate will take over huge swathes of the ground no matter what. The world has changed since 95.

But what I really struggle with is these same protests who castigate the lack of drive from the board are saying they would rather take rangers to the Conf than have this. Well be careful what you wish for. My point is that I wouldn';t rather go to the Blue Square and I don't think the majority of rangers would either. So this minority should realise they are just that. A minority/ If you want Blue square you can go the AFC route right now. No need to try to take us with you.

at this moment in time we can just about reconise the club. in 5 years time those who were here pre takeover won't be supporting qpr anymore. those in charge have robbed us of our club. we wan't it back. if that means relegation then so be it at least in ten years time i will still be able to watch qpr reguarly

You make some fair points but if you genuinely believe we are going to get promoted with Briatore in control then your a fool!

no. lets those in charge know how we feel.

but more importantly lets those in charge know that we won't stand for it.

I just want to know what those chanting outside actually wanted.
                                Genuine question.

                                FB out?
                                FB to change his ways?

I mean - what does "sack the board" actually mean FFS.
WHO will sack them? The owners are the board, the board are the owners.

If it's a general show of dissatisfaction - then fair-enough. But all I can see from the video is the same old chants from the terraces.

I DO understand the sentiments and share them. It was just so stereotypical and embarrassing to be honest.

No - I don't know the answer. And I understand that options are limited as we have no access.
But it still looked and sounded crap IMO.
