The whole management of this company has been incompetent and uncommitted. If I were a minor owner in the business with the clout of billions I'd be influencing the majority owner if I cared. Bernie and Amit have enjoyed the publicity that goes with footie but fcs they clearly don't give a damn and should be vilified for the ineffectual onanists ( Google it) that they are.
What's difficult about picking a style of football, finding committed professionals and being focused on improvement over time? It's not a big ask.
It's a simple business. No brains are needed, just talent and love of the club. If you are serious about succeeding at football on a budget you have a clear plan and precision decision-making. If you're in it for publicity, that' s much easier if you are a cheat, a midget or a wannabee.
The club is a joke because it is run by egos and people who have no contribution to make to the world. They are users looking for their next fix. They can buy anything therefore nothing has true value. I doubt they put their hands in their pockets for the carnage in Haiti.
Don't defend the ineffectual collaborators in our demise. Good riddance to the puss that they are.

And an intelligent man would realise that the fans are angry at the way the club is being run.
And as everyone knows.... FB runs the club, not him.
So, as long as Amit has an ounce of brains in his head, then I'm sure he can work out for himself who the fans have the big problem with.
If he hears chants of "You don't know what you're doing", or "We're not a f****** circus", or "£20? You're having a laugh" etc... then I'm sure he'll know deep down exactly who that is aimed at.
And if he doesn't, then he's thick.

When Briatore walked in here he gave a number of high-profile interviews saying there was a 5 year plan and we're going to be in the Champions League in 5 years. FB then put the prices up to Champions League level and chucked my Dad (who's a pensioner by the way) out of a seat he'd occupied for 30 years so he could watch his old seat be empty every week in C club from his new seat behind a post. Obviously, if you raise people's expectations, make them pay for it and then let them watch mostly dross, while sacking (or forcing out) 7 managers, then you should reasonably expect that people will feel disappointed. This will manifest itself in different ways. Someone like my Dad will just shrug his shoulders. Perhaps he should shout and swear but it's not his way. Nor mine, I would rather get behind the team. But I applaud the move to do a red nose protest which is comical, peaceful and makes a statement about the way things are being run. The problem is that nobody from the club wants to speak to the fans, without whom there is no club. Until that changes, the fans will be united only in their suspicion of the board...

Why on earth would Amit get the hump over this.
If a protest such as is being planned is enough - then it wont take much for him to walk anyway.

Bernie is.
I presume this is going to be a quiet protest and not aimed at the people above??
After all, we could lose everything if any of those two get abused if they come to the game.
I would just add Bernie does lot for the club and Amit loves this club with a passion
The last throw of the dice from a desperate man springs to mind.

Totally different comparison.
I'd compare it with the demise of Thomson and what happened when we got Wright. Trouble is now, we have very powerful and weathy men and currently one person makes all the decisions as he holds the majority share. I just don't want to drive all of them out.
fb makes the decisions,of course he does.as far as i know fb's experience is in textiles/clothing with benneton.f1 with benneton and renault.no nothing about football.needs an adviser.this is where gp comes in.i know all there is to know about football.i've been the chairman here for two years.i used to be an agent.
so he became fb's adviser. now if your paying someone to advise you and you don't take that advise, you're a mug.point.if you went to a doctor or a solicitor for advise and you had doubts you'd go for a second opinion, then if you find the original advice was ********,you'd steer well clear of that person.right.to sum up.fb to stay.gp out the door asap.imo his reason for being at our club is to line his pockets.
