Liverpool v Chelscum. QPR v Owls.

I have heard a lot of talk, in the media, about the mistakes during last nights game.

I heard Wrighty on Talk Sport saying goals are what make games of football and that focusing on the mistakes is wrong in may ways. If there were no mistakes a huge percentage of games would be 0-0 and that would be bad (don't we know it).

I know the board here was buzzing with comments about the 3-2 win on Monday.

So I know where I stand on this but what are your opinions.

Do goals make a good game or is it the 3 points that matter?

I would rather see 3 points than lots of goals.

would you rather a pulsating 90 minutes of football, end to end stuff, 4-5 defeat with a late sucker punch

    Or

A tedious 90 minutes, no shots on target, full of errors but a late OG gains a 1-0 win....

Personally I'd go for the former...

lose 5-4 every game and get relegated to League 1 OR
win 1-0 every game and get promoted to premiership??

Why not WIN 5-4 every game and get promoted to the Premiership ? Every time I go down the Rangers I want to be entertained.
But I'll take the 1-0 workmanlike performances, grudgingly.

First and foremost is the 3 points.

Entertaining football is great to watch, but i am sure Newcastle fans would have taken a few 1-0's and won the title.

                Very negative Chris

Playing that way (lots of goals - Attacking) you are bound to lose some but chances are you'd win many too, and for me I would like to build a team around that attitude.

I do see the other side of it though but for me it would be boring.

But hey! this is what polls are for, to find out peoples opinions.
