Briatore is on his way out no other way to explain it, if we can't make play offs overspending then he knows we wont make it whilst cost cutting, cut his losses and sell when he can! Ah well protest it is then get the fat orange prat out on our terms!

Burnley have just signed Leon Cort, also have Carlisle, Duff, Edgar, Long and Caldwell as centre backs. Why would they want Hall? Would at best be a squad player.

I know that I'm gonna get shot down but Hall is much better than Stewart, Ramage and Borrowdale.

When he first joined everyone here was signing his praises but he has gone downhill but to be fair the whole team is absolute toilet at the moment. He has been singled out more than most but have a look at how many goals Ramage is responsible for.

The fact that a prem club want him re-affirms my view. Not sure many Prem sides are looking at Stewpeas!!

Laughable that Newcastle want him. He is overpaid and rubbish.

Sounds like bull**** to me, bet he's going nowhere.

Club trying to get rid by drumming up interest, but can't believe anyone would want him because apart from his form/ability, hes injury prone.

If it does happen, then great, we are clearing the decks...get rid of all the dead wood.

Fitz Hall Watch: Newcastle and Burnley battle for powerful QPR centre-half

Fitz Hall Watch: Newcastle and Burnley battle for powerful QPR centre-half

QPR are trying to sell centre-half Fitz Hall in order to slash their wage bill in a major cost-cutting measure.
Hall has been cleared to speak to Newcastle United and Burnley about a surprise deadline move and would cost around £750,000, but QPR also want to get his salary off their payroll rumoured to be around £16k per week.
Versatile and powerful, Hall is keen on the switch to the Toon, with Brian Laws's Burnley only interested in him as a squad player.

So then guys, what are your thoughts on that one?
