Is what we pay the players at the heart of what we have become as a club.

What price on pride, passion and a desire to succed.

All gone in just over 4 years

Lets just say this, you are talking very generally with the above statement whereas what i have said is a LOT more specific. He did not leave for money, did not ask to leave,if your employer has told you to speak to a competitor with a view to leaving would that not tell you that perhaps you are no longer wanted or just maybe they prefer/need the money more?

Fair enough, but being paid better wages does help. In anyone's line of work if you got 50-75% extra in you wage pack to work elsewhere, then loyalties go out the window

Your right, I'm not privvy to the situation, but he has been to many clubs for a relatively young player and not stayed long wherever he has been.

That's because he has no loyalty and is driven by money - plus he aint actually that good, too good for us, but not Prem class.

To be fair, broke his foot debut for Spurs, loaned at Pompey and Fulham (who wanted to buy) Villa never played him and spent 9mill on Milner ,Cardiff on Loan who also wanted to buy,Qpr who SOLD him.....more like a player who actually wants to play football which he did here and most probably will at Toons.

And this is a typical fan reaction to being apparently spurned (although as stated he never asked to leave)

Not a loss. Over hyped player, as is Tarrabt.

Um, no. Please find a post by me which states different. I have never rated him that highly, just a I have not with Buzz and Cook. I would prefer Hogan as I do rate him.

It was more the loyalty and money comment,no problem about what you think of him as a player. How can he be dis-loyal when the club sold him?

I would just like to point out I have always stated Ramage was pants at R/B (dunno as C/B) even when he had a purple patch, as I have with Hall, Mahon, Stewart, Agyemang, Helguson....the list goes on.

If thats the case (I'm not looking for an argument), why in your opinion did we push him on other clubs??

History shows many clubs at such a young age. Please state where it says he did not want to go, or even jump at the chance to leave? Unlike some I don't care he has left, but my personal opinion is that he follows money instead of staying and proving a point. He did not have to accept a transfer did he. He could say "No thanks GP/FB, I want to stay here to help get us out of this muddle and I will prove to you I am worth keeping, please sell one or two of the lesser players."

Blackmafia, difficult to turn down when they have already accepted an offer for you...what does that tell the player?

Surely Newcastle or Boro make the first contact with the agent of the player, then the agents goes to QPR, with the offer that is on the table??
