Regardless of how much profit is involved, it is not good business if the money doesn't go towards strengthening the team.
Routledge is one of the better players in the CCC and will be missed, but I am ok with selling him, if the funds go towards another right back and a striker.
QPR can play either Ephraim, Buzsaky, Vine (if fit) or even Alberti, if he is still at QPR, on the right wing.
But I do agree that it is strange selling the better players to balance the books when there are Billionaires on the Board. Perhaps they really have lost interest with the club and all co-owners are looking to sell.
I know many of us said we didn't want to do a Chelsea, but I have now changed my mind and would be glad to see a new manager in May, given a £15M budget to buy the CCC title in 2010/11, rather than the current thinking of a million here and there, and loan signings to fill the gaps. The current way is just wasting money.
