Again, we've made nowhere near that.

We have however ost a very, very good CCC player and won't be replacing him. Who's going to take blame for that?

and how many here will be moaning when they see the size of the debt.

Do you a) Want a load of money pumped into the club and huge debts
        b) Want the club run sensibly generating its own income wherever possible.

and I don't see how its lining someone's pockets unless the club is in a break even position which it is not.

Why are we in more debt now than when they took over, I thought these people were saviours ?

looking not to blame anyone, just saying it as i see it.
paul with all due respect you dont know whether or not it will be ploughed back in or not

More importantly he is one of the highest earners at the club so by getting rid will free up some of the wage bill

Boro have matched the 2 mil asking price and thats a decent 1.7 mil mark up

Also worth noting wayne is one of the highest earners at the club, 20k a week i last heard

Hopefully we can put that money towards getting someone like Kitson in

Funny post this... Worried about how much mark up we are getting on WR. Firstly he cost QPR more than 300k and secondly he could not be replaced by anyone on loan nor for a figure of £2million. Those who think differently are in their own fantasy world. He is not happy at the club but who can blame him. How many managers have we had. Different ideas and styles of play to adapt to, different formations to play in as well as playing him in how many different positions! We are a farce and a pathetic football club at the moment. Any player with brain, ambition and drive wouldn't want to be associated with the club. If we as a club had any ambition there wouldn't have been any discussion around this topic. WR IS NOT FOR SALE to any Championship club end of!

On his day he can be very good however he blows hot and cold

300k was the fee we got him for, wages are 20k a week

If you can find evidence otherwise let us know

You talk of freeing up some wages. Getting a player of his ability will only cost you the same or similar so your point is meaningless plus you have new agents fees, signing on fee and a replacement salary to add into this when finding a replacement!

so what if he is the highest earner, get rid of all the crap players and that will cover it!!!

its not about making a profit, its about building a good team.

if that £2mil doesnt go straight into the team there will be trouble.

are the owners purposely trying to **** us off?

Aston Villa get 20% meaning we get £1.36k (roughly) meaning we've made £760k (again, roughly) so not that great considering we've paid close to £500k in wages (presuming he's on around £13k per week to which we possibly paid 50% for the 1st 6 months and 100% for the next 6?!)

I could be completely wrong with my calculations, but I guarentee we've made nowhere near £1.7m.

Oops, edited from 5's to %'s on my figures :embarrassed:
and Boro will probably pay over 4 or 5 installments..

Only QPR would sell their best players to a side challenging them for a play off spot. But we're QPR, it's how we do things.
