Club should never of paid 20k+ wages in the 1st place!!

For one you are talking a load of tosh. There is no player and there hasn't been ONE SINGLE player who we've paid over £20k a week in wages. We are a Championship club with average gates of 13,000. You need to get real sunshine, in order to get an average of 13 you must have players on 20+
ie mcsweeney, rose, balanta german, josh Parker all in the sqaud and earn 3k max, so in order to get an average of 13 must be some high earners.

More importantly before you want to go on speculating. My contact has mentioned you should do a little investigating into the clubs official accounting periods supplied to Companies House - more concrete information than what you've possibly heard from Franks brother Bill, who know Tom and Alfie who went to school with Mick and Tony who drink in the Naggs Head. Have a look at the financial accounts which you can dig around for online. 43% playing staff salary increase year on year in 2008 @ which the highest paid player at the club was earning circ £4600 pw base. If you want to deal in fact he said he'll resume this conversation in more depth when next years accounts are released soon. This year there will also be an increase as you would assume given the players we have had in on loan.

POINT 1 - QPR could never support a playing staff wage bill of £17million a season playing in the Championship FACT. We were losing £3 to £5million a year having a wage bill at around £5million a few years back.
POINT 2 - You say our average wage per player is £13k across the club so times that by 52weeks a year and then that figure by an average of 26 which is the average squad size, EVEN though ours is at about 32 players would give you about £17million...

As I said utter nonesense therefore I am not going to entertain your question.

As I posted Fishcake. Some simple maths above. Obviously Maths and football knowledge isn't his strong points... 13k a week average wages for a middle of the row Championship football club who gets 13,000 crowds week in week out. What a wollie!
