73rd in the actim index (FACTOTASTIC!!!) would suggest he is better than what a lot of people are spouting on this thread.
    He is.

Certainly not as worthy of the stick he's getting as the bloke in your avatar.
Fitz doesn't look very happy in that pic?

Yeah, and as I also suggested he is low on confidence alike the rest of the team(defence).
I do also feel that QPR supporters are obsessed with NEW SIGNINGS(myself included)

Have faith! Tony Coton should be able to improve the goalkeeping.

Same thing he struggled with last season, and he still won the golden glove!

Sousa was trying to build from the back and Cerny benefitted from that. But, as I have consistently said (and been shot down FREQUENTLY on here), Cerny is not all that. Yes, he is a good shot stopper, which gives him the Hollywood moments that others seem to focus on, but he is decidely average in all other regards.

Should have kept Camp for the long run as I have always said...

I don't like people who say this, but...

I agree, but he got that last year for not doing that much. The defence was fantastic last season but Magilton screwed it up and now the defence is crap, it is showing what Cerny is all about.

BTW you could say the same thing about Lee Camp. Shot stopper

a number of factors could be why.

The constant defensive changes made by Magilton (the one area Sousa dodn't tinker with).

Selling Camp (who provided a serious challenge, up until it became abundantly clear that he wadn't wanted by the Board).

Cerny's age perhaps. Although other keepers like Seaman, James and others played on but they were higher to begin with.

Cerny is a decent shot stopper, but has never really comanded his area.

I do agree, andc said many times last season, that Camp should have been No.1 and kept.

Simples....Campy kept him on his toes
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Partly because our defence has changed constantly and been shoddy! Let's not forget that although Cerny may have won the golden gloves award it's the whole team that defends!

He was also prone to the odd error but lack of confidence at the moment seems to be leading to more than usual! Ikeme I very much doubt is the answer so really we should have signed someone!

We've leeked goals because of Magiltons tactics and tinkering. We had a solid defence under Sousa and Dowie
