Heaton had been watched at Rochdale, but they felt he wasn;t tall enough??:(:victory::horror:
Height is important, it's the reason why Cerny stays on his line and does not command his area.

          oh no
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He's also the same height as Peter Shilton.

But of course Shilton would have been far too small to have played for QPR???

Since when was 6'1" short for a keeper?

If he can jump for crosses and dive to make saves he is better than a 6'3" keeper that doesn't. Anyone recall Sieb Dykstra. I think he was around 6'5", but wasn't so good.

Imagine if every centre half was judged on height.

Who would you rather have, Vermalean or Hall? Or how about Paul Parker or Hall?
