Professional football is nothing and has no meaning or future without fans. Something has to give?!:very_sad:

At a time when the divide between fans and players is furthest away, it would have been good PR to get this right. It just allows more rumblings from fans (deservedly so) and makes it harder for the fans to get behind the players., They may think they are good enough, in reality we are all in this together and a happy fan base goes part of the way to insure that we get results on the pitch. Okay a few fans boo, but these adults/kids made an effort to turn up and now they are going to have even more supporters against them.

If this is true, its disgraceful. I defended the players last week and got hammered by highgradeR.

          But no defending this time.

It pains me to say it because I disliked his football, but under Holloway he would have made dam sure that all the players were at these kind of events. All the players would come to xmas events etc. In the last 3-4 years it's just been one disaster.

Only QPR could advertise for players to be prsent at an 'official' event and they still don't turn up.

The club is being run as a Mickey Mouse outfit. But worst of all, it doesn't surprise me. Following Rangers you get use to false hopes and dawns.

These are the same jumped up ******s who have only won once in 11 games. If they were earning arrogance i would begrudgingly accept it but they are playing like donkeys.

              What a shower.

i find it funny people think that the players would actually turn up at the shop when they can't even turn up at the matches

There was quite a few of our younger fans down there with their parents hoping to meet some of the players that the club had been advertised as being there for a meet and greet and available to get pictures and autographs. Well guess what? not one player turned up!! apparently they would rather take the fine. However the manager of the superstore was brilliant and gave the kids a free guided tour of the stadium which they were probably happier to receive. Sums the club up these days unfortunately.:very_sad:
If this is true and no player bothered turning up then that is bl++dy poor. How much do they get paid and none could be bothered:embarrassed::shame::shame::shame:

The gaffer should give them hell in the next training session.

Who is the brightest QPR player??

I dont say that educated people is more valuable or brighter than others but can you name a player currently or having played for QPR who fits this bill?

Ossie Ardiles is a lawyer me thinks. Cant forget his failed backpass back THEN though.
