Routledge is one of the best right wingers in the division. He has been played as second striker, in the hole, and in a Diamond much of the season. What a waste. When he has played on the right wing he has beaten his fullback and looked up, no-one there. Not surprising he is a bit disenchanted.

Buz also has spent most of the season out of position.

It is what happens when you get idiots like Briatore and Paladini constantly sacking managers and interfering. Helguson would be an excellent target man for Routledge in a 4-4-2. Where is he, Watford.

You don't progress by selling your best players.

And talking about Gerry Francis as if he was sold at anything like his peak shows you know f... all about the history of the club Pete.

I ain't buying into routledge leaving to trim the wage bill, he wants out of the circus and fair play, probably buzz as well. Our hand has been forced due to not being able to even loan out the crap.

i thought we had the best midfield in the league who would score the goals to get us promoted Pete, that was your argument for not needing to sign a striker at the start of the season was it not, now you are saying sell our 2 best players?

yes to an extent books have to be balanced but its not just the amount spent on players its the disasterous results of a very poor ticket pricing and seat grading policy plus the apparent contempt of Flav for the £20 quiders that has resulted in a drop in matchday income and atmosphere and a apparent lack of real revenue from sponsorship and corporate that is making the losses bad.

you cant expect to buy a championship team with debts and a substandard squad and youth setup and get to the premiership in 4 years without putting you hand in your pocket any fool know that
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

That was just an example, players come and go, the club remains.

I's suggest if you think he so good, than get behind him. Doubt any player individually wants to be part of a club that has it fans boo after a win.

I can think many times in our history when players have left and we have got better, and times when its gone pear shaped.

          It weighs its self up.

No player is bigger than the club.

Buzz and Routledge are already quality. just because they haven't been on fire for the last couple of months doesn't mean we should get rid.

or should we sell a player the moment they have a drop in form?
            Seems that way.
Our two best, and most likely to produce a bit of magic (QPR) players lose form for a few weeks.... ahhh just sell 'em. Try someone else. On loan, probably.
Team spirit, unity and stability??? They don't matter. Class is temporary, form is permanent.

I suppose it sums up the logic at the club for the past year or two.
Manager only draws 0-0 away at Swansea, sod it... just sack him.
            Clean slate, just start again.
            And again.
            And....

The grading seat policy was not a good one and it will be reversed next season.

Flavio did not put his message out across in the way and as usual one comment gets singled out, what else did he say for example?? I don't know, but for sure you know the negative content will be taken out for use in future.

even if we pay £20, £30 or £40, the point I guess the point he was trying to make was the investment they have made, outweighs our contribution. It was not the right thing to do of course and he could have been more subtle.

reality is in todays market, someone comes in for a player like Routledge for 1.5 million, then I'd bite their hand off.

By the way for someone who is not good in getting in players, how much did he cost us ??

£300,000?? you cannot have it both ways.

Want to get a smaller club to The Premier League, and maybe one day, even Europe?

Want to sell players that are actually capable of helping us do that, because they don't want to lose money in the short term??

Like you say... you cannot have it both ways.

Decision made, statement of intent made. Lower your sights folks, the "dream" was not achievable. Fine.
Why not just say it then??? instead of all the b*llsh*t big talk.

Well. When Flavio said Champions League in 4 years, did he expect he was going to achieve that by balancing the books?
I thought the reason the big money men invested in Rangers was that they could afford to pay whatever it took to take us to the top and then the fans would flock to see us.
They are essentially bailing out at first base by not even giving it a proper go. If we need more steel, why not just add that to the squad?

We are close to having a team to get promoted this season or next and they are selling some of the best players from the squad.

If we are financially restricted to club revenue, then we may as well accept relegation back down to Division one now.

                          Dear oh Dear.

                            Nothing, you're right.
                            Just sell them both. Fine.

Not even going to lower myself by arguing about this.

                            It's laughable.
