Most of our games this season Routledge has been a stand out player for us...and he is ours not a loan. Selling him and then trying to placate the fans by loaning more players is laughable. It truly is shocking how much of a badly run club we are if this is the case. Buying all the below average players and giving them good wages on long contracts has put us in this position, if the Billionaires truly refrain from spending any of their money to fill positions on the pitch that need filling then we really are up ****creek

1 win in our last 11 so its hard to pick any of our players from that run but i would say that 90% of the home games i have seen this season he has stood out for me. He can beat his man and get a ball in the box (his crossing needs work though) and has a good understanding with Simpson. If we sell him then can i assume we will be replacing him with a better player? didnt think so.......
or are we selling him to get our huge wage bill down that our DOF has negotiated with our poorer players....heads should roll

In answer to your questoin . Routs has had a poor season , a winger needs to be given the ball at nearly every oppotunity as to get at a full back or create width . 3 reasons i think this has not happened to often this season
1 - turmoil created with the coaching
                      2 - been sussed
                      3 - cant be botherd
Could be any one or all 3 . Which is a shame because he has the skill
Football played the Charlie Ferris way

Mate i think it is the board and their actions that may have pushed WR to want to leave in all honesty...

                            Strikers win matches ...FACT

Yes Wayne is a good player at this level but he's not going to win games on his own . This season , due to our obvious lack of decent strikers we have been too reliant on him and we've always been looking to him to do something 'magical' during a game.

Wingers are only good if there is someone there to finish off their work and at the moment ( Simpson excluded) we don't have anyone. Its like a golfer hitting the ball 300 yards to within 6 inches of the hole and then missing the putt !!

Sell him , REINVEST in GOOD ,PROVEN Goalscorers and I would class it as good business.

I wouldn't sell Routledge until we've brought in the players that Pete mentions. Otherwise we'll be in the same situation as before when we lose our best players and have no decent replacements lined up.

Does playing in the same team with 34 different players since January 2009 help Routledge? No not in the slightest. Having Sousa, Ainsworth, Magilton, Bircham/Gallen, Hart and now Harford bark orders at him help?

                              No wonder he isn't consistent.

                                'Kin hilarious!

Tell that muppet waiter mate of yours he couldn't Direct traffic at a toy-town roundabout with one car in the village.

So we sell a pacy winger who everyone agrees on his day is a match winner and can terrorise most CCC full backs and you think that it's okay to do that IF we reinforce positions where we've been weak for 4 years?
So IF the waiter manages to unearth decent fullbacks and another striker we'll have no-one to give the ball to when we win it back and two decent strikers without any service.

Tell GP to look the word BALANCED up in the Oxford Eeengllleeeeeesh Dictionary will you?

Laughable that we potentially have to sell one of his better transfer finds to shore up areas where he's saddled us with horse manure.
If he's such a great wheeler dealer working 29 hours a day for the good of QPR then why can he not offload the chumps we have at the club to get the wage bill down?

Don't answer that - we know why.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
