Queens Park Rangers FC would like to announce the immediate dismissal of Assistant Manager Tony Coton. The club had been lead to believe that Mr Coton still held a players license and were keen to have him challenging for the keeper's jersey with Radek Cerny. On arrival at Harlington it transpired that Coton failed his fitness test and was expecting a managerial position.

The club will be making no further statement at this time.
