I stand by my original statement. Routledge is the only current first team player worthy of any significant sum. And we're being prepared for his potential sale to a championship direct competitor.
If this happens, this will go down in history with the sales of Camp, Blackstock and Parrett as one of the worst pieces of business we've ever done.
But contain yourselves, don't vent your entire spleen on this. Wait until you see what gems we'll get in on short terms loans or 4 year contracts as replacements.....
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."
im with clunge on this one. if we sell routledge, there is no way in hell we will replace him. it would be the stupidest bit of business QPR have done since the takeover.
DONT SELL ROUTLEDGE!

Over the course of the season that is true, but he has not scored or created much since Derby, unlike Taarabt.
I'd sell him for £2M+ if the money was rto be used to sign full backs and a striker.
Ephraim or Alberti, if he is still at QPR, can play on the right. Perhaps even Vine if fit.
I don't think either Taraabt or Routledge are consistent enough but at least Routledge is our player. We've been prepared to sell of the likes of Camp, Blackstock and Delaney who were all first team regulars and in their place we're now using a loan keeper, loan forwards and have been using loan left backs.
I know we have the players to fill the positions but are they actually as good as Routledge?
It's like selling Ronaldo and saying it's okay because we have Valencia. 6 months from now we will be saying we need to strengthen on the right wing.
If I wanted to make you laugh thrush I'd get you to read your posts.
Perrat worth 7figures but sterling not!! It's you that's making me laugh!!
Not trying to defend anyone, but I fail to see where he's said Parret was worth 7 figures. Just that it's a bad piece of business, as will letting Sterling go. We're letting anyone who shows potentioal leave whilst signing the likes of Zimbawe's left back and Steve Howard. Giving lengthy contracts to Agey and letting Camp and Dex go to a rival club who are flying high.
Just a few reasons we're proving to be one of the laughing stocks of English football.

I agree, selling Camp, Blackstock and Delaney and replacing them with loans and inferior players was stupid and reckless.
But, for me, Routledge has shown a lack of interest over the last few months and this is something he has been doing his whole career. He did it at Place, Tottenham on loan at Fulham and perhaps even at Villa, although not sure if he even got a game there - maybe he didn't convince O'Neill in training that he deserved a game.
Ideally, I would rather keep him and see if he can recapture his form, but it seems quite clear that the FB & Co will not continue to bankroll the club (probably via loans anyway) and that there is no transfer kitty.
QPR need good full backs and a striker. So how else will they get these if the owners wont fund the signings? No one wants to buy Agyemang, Hall, Vine, Alberti or Ephraim etc.
To be truthful, I have had enough of believing that the owners are going to deliever PL football to QPR.
The mentality they have shown so far, is that unless we mugs (fans) are prepared to pay silly money to fill up a cramped, with poor views & facilities stadium, watching mid-table football, then they are not going to put any serious money into the club.
Is this the can't have your cake and eat it too gang! firsty people don't want to go to games and give the club their revenue and then moan about having to sell ur best players. that is what hppens when you try to run a club within its means. how bout insteadof moaning go to the games and give the club the means to keep our better players. the gate at sheff utd replay probably barely covered 1/2 team that played.
Not sure if he is going or not, certainly won't be going for 500k.
But, it does amaze me that the club had get ridiucled for bringing in so many players, need to be a bit savvy with finances and shouting from the rooftops if we sell Routledge. If, it means we bring other players I'm all for it.
I will say again, Routledge apart from Exeter away has hardly been fantastic.
Cook on the left, Buzz or Hogan on the right have no problem with that
