Im a very easy going guy but when something gets at me Im a person of principle.
Mine was being kicked out for calling a copper a wa**nker at a game in the early 80s. I had overheard him asking a West indian guy to "move yourself sambo". I took offence even though didnt know the person it was directed to, made my comment as i walked by was grabbed and escorted out. Was held for i think 10 mins after kick off then let out of gate and told to sod off. Horrible feeling being outside the gates hearing the game going on and having to tramp back home.
How times have changed, but I would do the same to be honest.

Against Preston a couple of years back(the 2-2 game when Ainsworth equalised in the last min) i shamefully left after 23 minutes due to the fact i was half ****ed(yes at 3.23pm) and couldnt wait till half time for another beer. I went to the Conningham and carried on the sesh.
Next morning my hangover was ridiculous and a stark reminder to never, ever leave the home of British football early.

about 8 years ago we played blackpool at home and we beat them 2.1. i was watching the game in a box and got proper drunk.i went walkabouts afterwards and chored clark carlisles boots and a few other bits of playing kit.we then went on something like a 13 game run without winning and my pals blamed me saying id cursed the team by taking the boots."The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".
London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

did you take a good beating Dext? good job you have chilled now.
You are to old to get into that kind of bother these daysI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
