Fed up with the fact we've seen the club badge change, Jude gone, the absurd C Club and "boutique" football. The increase in ticket prices, same old ****e stadium facilities and right wing para military style buffoons acting as stewards.
I've done my time outside the Prem. As we all have. When we were poor and **** and still better than we were now. Joining the Oldham Supporters Club online to get tickets for the Play-off Semi. Sitting in the pooring rain in an effing cow shed on a friday evening while Southend smash 5 goals past us. And yet I still love my club and i always have. I live in Dover and QPR fans are far and few between here but i have always been proud to support QPR as my dad and grandad did. Bush born and raised the pair of them. My son is a R. But now i'm embarrassed by the way the club is being run. We are a laughing stock in football. We a bigger laugh than effing Big Brother.
So i am not spoilt. i am just angry and have had enough of the lies. I don't boo. i don't shout abuse but i feel the amount of money i spend i have the right to express my views on this very good mb.
It does not mean we are spoilt. Every club. Every team has fans who moan and whinge online before and after games. That is the nature of the game. That is life.
The board and then the players need to sort their **** out and start doing the right thing.
Asking fans to start taking a responsibilty for the mess we are in is effing insulting.
I myself don't always agree with what people post here but they are entitled to their opinion. Glass houses mate.
Sorry.. not been posting long and don't mean to offend anyone but needed saying.

      Top post Pete.

Biggest problem with what you say is that I don't believe the type of manager that you want, I want and the rest of the fans want would work in the current set up. Name me a manager that you have described who is prepared to work with Briatore as boss and alongside a DoF? Curbishley won't. Coppell won't. O'Driscoll won't. De Canio maybe would but why leave when he could be managing in Serie A next season?

Dare I suggest if we put a Curbishley or Coppell in charge and got rid of the DoF that many fans wouldn't be moaning and certainly wouldn't be moaning after a couple of defeats ....we would see the club are eventually doing things the correct way and would be prepared to sit back for a couple of years and watch the plan come together ...if however another puppet gets appointed we will be going down the same road again!

Agree with most of waht Pete says there.Sadly,no decent manager would want to come and work under the current structure.A well known football writer who has had years years of QPR connections(but shall remain nameless)has described what is going on at our club as a "tragedy".

That is exactly how it is.
Fans are not as stupid as some people like to make out.

There was no booing of Dowie... but that was when we believed there was some direction at QPR. The owners were trusted back then.
              And the hope was there.

It's been shattered by these fools, and they wonder why the faith has gone? It's been slowly beaten out of people by the sheer buffoonery of the club.

Admit mistakes, put them right, communicate, give the fans a manager they can have faith in.... and you will be AMAZED how all these "moaning" and "fickle" fans will very quickly get back to 100% supporting this team.

For christ sakes, nobody wants to feel like this.

Best piece you've written on here, Pete - that was about 50% of the standard of LFW, but still your best piece by far. :amazing:

I just wonder how many re-writes the para on Gianni took and how much pride swallowing went into that...

                  Personally

Would Say Coppell this a 2 and half year contract..

Get us up, but you will get no interference...

                  Will it happen??

                  Doubt it

They need the fans back on side,Harford is not the answer. At the moment I can not think of anyone that would take it

Nope it won't ....the likes of Megson, Harford, Robson, Reid must be rubbing their hands in anticipation!

Get the job ...lose a few games, upset a couple of players, try and sign a couple of your own players and get yourself a nice little 2 year pay-off ...come to think of it I could do that!

                          Agree with you.
But why shouldn't that scenario be realistic??

I doubt it too, but I can't understand why "they" can't see it.

                          It's just baffling.
What do they want from QPR, if not success on the pitch???

Would Coppell or Curbishley want it with Briatore at the club? Especially now when he doesn't have the distraction of Formula 1 to keep him away from the club for so much time.

                            Doubt it.

Yes, QPR survived. But wasn't that largely down to GP bringing FB in to the club?

As far as I recall, QPR were practically down and out before the FB/BE takeover.

Another month later and QPR would almost certainly have been put into administration or maybe even had a winding up order issued on it.

Perhaps you would prefer the risk of doing a Luton.

Briatore is an egomaniac ...things have to be done his way or its the highway. He doesnt listen to advice when it comes to business decisions and his eyes and ears there is Paladini who gives him regular reports. No Way will he give a manager a free reign while he owns the club.
