  • Hold on a cotton picking minute.....

I have just heard an interview with Hart on Solent Radio, I think, and he clearly states he walked and was not sacked. Also said he was disappointed by the reactions some of his decision making received and he knew a few weeks ago he had made the wrong decision ? He didn't say if it was the fans reaction or that of the baord.
So yes I know things aren't great and I also know Hart was a very very poor appoitment but I am not sure the Fans booing his every decision helped matters.
I think the decision is for the best though and I pray we will eventually make the right appointment.

      He didn't fit in...

Also pete said to me that (apparantly) his training sessions were dreary for the players hence why they he couldn't motivate them.

the old 'blame the fans' trick. works every time. lets all keep schtum and wait until the club is royally ****ed, as long as the players are happy (the molly-coddled over-paid, underperforming prima donnas that they are).

Bit over sensitive there aren't you ? I am merely giving my opinion from what I heard, the blame of course lies within the club but the fans are not blameless ! Either

not over sensitive in the slightest, you're entitled to your opinion, same as everyone else. just don't understand how in any way the fans can be blamed for this shambles - i think the fans have a right to vent at a game considering the extortionate prices we pay.

Kit, many cannot deal with factual information, speculation is more fun and pointing fingers makes it more entertaining.

He wasn't sacked, he handed in his resignation. He can still take up the post, he turned down a few weeks ago, but only had a couple of weeks to make his mind up

Can blame the board all you like, but us the fans never made him feel welcome either...

Yes singing for Camp on Cerny's debut, booing Mahon last season, booing after beating Bristol City all fine examples of the fans being blameless.

Think you are missing the point with all this, not many people care why or how Hart left/got the boot.

Booing isn't right in my opinion at games but again completely misses the point.

What people care about is how this shambles/circus/laughing stock is currently run from top to bottom and what the 'powers that be' are going to do to change it!!

If that got sorted the booing would stop and we would get the right man I am sure.

Agree they were all completely wrong and examples of bad support but I'm sure they are just surfacing because of the deep discontent among fans due to the boards decisions

Adam I am not trying to defend the owners I really am not, we do need some stability at the club and fast and yes it will get better if we were more successful but the fans are not blameless and have not helped any Manager except LDC.
Whilst none helped themselves either, the fans didnt help Dowie, Sousa, Magilton or Hart and demanded success straight away, better support from the fans may have given these guys a better chance of succeeding.

sorry if i'm mistaken, and maybe i am, but i don't recall anyone booing sousa, dowie, magilton, or de canio. players got booed, which i don't in any way condone, but the managers? i think not. hart of course was a different story but i think by that time fans had had enough, and with the football on show and considering what a god-awful appointment he was in the first place, i don't thnk anyone can blame them. and even then it was only a minority.
