Still gotta ask why he has been given a new contract before a new manager comes in. What happens if the next guy doesn't rate him (I mean he wouldn't be alone there would he?).

Surely, it makes sense to put all of this on hold until the new man comes in????

Sorry but I rate him and am glad he has signed. One of those who always gives 110% and never shies away. Implant his attitude into some of our prima donnas and we would have one Hell of a farking side.

By signing a new contract,we could ask for a larger fee from any potential buyer.
